Our Founders

David Metter is a recognized leader, advisor, investor, and operator in the automotive technology industry, with more than 30 years of experience across automotive retail, SaaS, marketing technology, and growth strategy. His leadership at companies such as HookLogic, Autobase, and Impel is part of his story. Over the past six years, he has been directly involved in 7 transactions and 5 recapitalizations. He currently serves as an advisor, investor, and board member for multiple automotive technology companies, including Protomiq (formerly TradePending), Skaivision, and HopDrive. He and his wife are invested in several companies inside and outside the automotive industry.
Throughout his career, Metter has worked closely with dealerships, OEMs, agencies, startup founders, and private equity stakeholders, giving him a unique perspective on what separates scalable automotive technology companies from those that struggle to gain traction. His experience includes helping companies navigate growth, operational scaling, strategic positioning, and acquisition readiness in one of the most relationship-driven industries in commerce.
